Video: a vision of Blur, and all about the powerups

A Mario Kart in a simulator’s skin? Maybe. On closer inspection, Bizarre Creations‘ upcoming Xbox 360 andPS3 blast-em-up racer, Blur, has a bit of a Twisted Metal feel to it, or have I just gone too long without a good TM? Anyway, the guys at Bizarre Creations each give their take on their big project, and they’ve got it all on video, with gameplay footages to sweeten the ride.

    Raven actor lists Tekken movie for October ‘09 release

    Leave it to the actors to tattle about the projects they’re involved in, especially if it’s as big a project as Tekken the movie. Darrin Henson is one such actor, and he only happens to play the part of Raven in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of the popular fighting game.

    Expecting a Sony PlayStation 4 or PS4? Maybe not much longer

    ps-logoAccording recent news from Play-Mag, they state that Sony have been working on the Sony PlayStation 4 or PS4 for longer than 2 years and they are expecting Sony will release its next generation console by around 2011 or 2012 and possibly with lower price.

    As for the hardware, the PS4 will likely be powered by Cell, or a variant.  The graphic processing is likely to come from nVidia or another chip manufacturer in order to keep the cost down.  The PS4 is also likely to be able to process real 3D imagery and Super High Definition.  The dual shock controller might go away and Sony is planning to use voice and movement recognition controller instead.
